This Condom Dispenser "is a comment on a familiar situation where the condom - or the lack of one – becomes a problem or an embarrassment. Cucoon highlights the importance of remembering the condom and uses humour to promote an approving, natural attitude to the situation"

This bookshelf uses nails as the main structure. A bit of paint and some doll feet and hands will create the “arms and legs” of the book holders. The nails are then attached to a backing board. These can be adjusted so that they look like they are supporting books or other objects.

Zaha Hadid turned her visionary approach to the kitchen. The futuristic "Z. Island by DuPont Corian" creates an "intelligent" environment that responds to the desires of the senses, while meeting a variety of conventional and innovative functional kitchen needs. The project envelops multimedia equipment, sound actuators and LEDs within a flowing shell of Corian - the original solid surface from DuPont - enabling users to surf the internet, listen to music or create a particular ambience by means of a centralized touch-control panel.
Cooking will be fun for sure in here!

Looking at the two last posts it seems that this house just came up by all working together: fashion designer, artist and architect. Duplicasa was designed by the architect Jürgen Mayer H and it is located in Germany. Wonderful!

Tara Donovan’s sculptures are born of everyday materials such as scotch tape, drinking straws, paper plates, and Styrofoam cups. She takes these materials and “grows” them through accumulation. The results are large-scale abstract floor and wall works suggestive of landscapes, clouds, cellular structures. She considers patterning, configuration, and the play of light when determining the structure of her works but the final form evolves from the innate properties and structures of the material itself. In her words, “it is not like I’m trying to simulate nature. It’s more of a mimicking of the way of nature, the way things actually grow”.

Talking about fashion I came across this swedish designer named Sandra Backlund. Her creations are beyond sculpture. This one is from her collection "blank page". Sometimes you start to wonder if there is a line that divides art from archiecture and fashion. Maybe it all just comes together in one big thing.

"Art you can wear". Tha's how Damien Hirst calls his last work. A collaboration between the British artist and Jeans brand Levi's.
In Italy the entire collection “Levi’s X Damien Hirst”, will be on sale at 10 Corso Como, Milan, from the 29th October to the 30th November.
By the way, 10 Corso Como is a 13,000-square-foot complex, which includes the Galleria Carla Sozzani (a photography and design gallery), a bookstore (design books from all over the world), among other stores. Sozzani was influenced by oriental bazaars. Carla Sozzani founded 10 corso Como in 1991.
